Airbnb announced their new contest to help 10 lucky winners finance and build their dream home.
This contest is called Unique Airbnb Fund, they will be giving away $1 million dollars to find and finance the most “unconventional, creative and unique livable spaces on the planet.”
The Unique Airbnb Fund is meant to empower everyone to design and build a unique house idea and share it with travelers all over the world. The contest will be judged by a panel of celebrities and Airbnb super hosts including Grammy Award winning actor and style icon Billy Porter.
You can submit your ideas to Airbnb from 8 a.m. EDT starting March 10, 2020 - April 15, 2020.
There will be 10 winners receiving $100,000 each to help bring their ideas to life.
Applicants must be able to prove they are the owner of the private property.
Proposals must incorporate one-of-a kind and totally unique design elements.
Must include an unusual or surprising shape or style.
While the contest urges applicants to dream big and tap in to their creative side, the proposal must be realistic, innovative and have some sustainable qualities to it.
